"Knights for road safety (KROS) project transnational meeting was successfully held in Madrid (02-03/04) and hosted by CECE (Spanish Confederation of Education &Training Centers) with the participation of RSI (Project coordinator), ), BundesGymnasium und BundesRealGymnasium Schwechat (Austria), Trinity College Dublin-The University of Dublin (TCD), Omega Technology (Greece) and EA (Greece).
The progress of the project was discussed and the next steps were decided. At the meeting we had the chance to discuss further the progress regarding KROS training material for teachers manual ‘Incorporating Traffic safety in class: a guide for teachers’ and all participants had the opportunity to test the Virtual Reality equipment.
The final selection of the schools that will join the Network of Pilot schools will be announced shortly and all participating teachers will have the chance to use and work on road safety issues at their classrooms.
The future training activities and project meetings were scheduled, with the 1st training activity taking place in Athens (03-05.07 2019) and the next transnational project meeting in 11-12.09 also in Athens.
